How to reduce the stress of a proctored exam

Don’t get stressed! Follow these 3 easy steps before you start your Final Test and you will set yourself up for a smooth experience.

But first, what is remote proctoring? This technology ensures that the integrity of the online test is not jeopardized in any way. It ensures that the person taking the test is actually who they say they are and that full integrity has been maintained during the test.

It actually is very complex! Using facial recognition and artificial intelligence (AI) monitoring by video and sound.

By utilizing a remote Proctoring System, this allows you the flexibility of taking the test online – where, when, and how you want.

You do not need to download any additional software and can complete the test on any device. The Proctoring System will ask for permission to access your camera and microphone. This will enable a recording of your test session. This information may be sent to a Live Proctor for analysis during or even after you have completed your test, if any irregularities or integrity issues have been identified by the Proctoring System.

Things like keyboard strokes, facial expressions, multiple people in view, and sound can be a concern for cheating and the Proctor may flag your test for further review or even an Integrity Audit.

Step 1: Make sure you have your valid Government Issued I.D. before starting the test

Step 2: Ensure you have a good internet (data) connection and a working camera

Step 3: Time. Make sure you plan enough time to complete the test alone (it could take you 10mins or 1hour)
