Planning for the holiday’s is more than shopping lists and zoom parties. It is also very important to always remember that a safe RIDE starts at home.
Here are a few things to consider before you head out, even if it is just to pick-up takeout:
- Have you consumed any alcohol? If so, how much and how long ago?
- How are you planning to get to/from where you are going – Cab/Rideshare, Transit?
- Is there an alternative way to get what you need – Is delivery an option, do you have a friend or family member that can help you, can it wait until tomorrow?
If you are safely hosting your family, remember you are still responsible for their safety. Always have plenty of food and non-alcoholic options available.
Have a plan and continue to follow Ontario’s COVID-19 Response Framework and local Public Health Units recommendations.
