Recently we took a look at the Top Technical Support questions received and thought we would share them with you here. Learn what you need to know, before you need to know it.
Question 1: How do I check my browser permissions for my camera and microphone? If you are not seeing a picture of yourself, there may be a problem! Here are some detailed steps to fix this before you move forward with your Final Test – Click Here
Question 2: I have passed the Final Test & Proctor Validation, but I am not sure how to get my Certificate number? If you have successfully passed the Final Test (80% or higher) as well as the Proctoring and I.D. validation process, a Certification number and letter of completion will be emailed directly to you, within 2 hours of completion. If your test session was flagged, for any reason, this may be delayed. DON’T FORGET – You can always view your Certification number (once posted) in your Online Account – Learn More
Question 3: I can’t Login to my Online Account. It gives me an error. Please check the email credentials you are using, or select “Forgot Password.” You must login from www.smartserve.ca. If you have recently created a new Online Account, please ensure you have completed the “validation” step, by clicking the link within the email that you received. For more details – Click Here
Question 4: Can I print my Certification from my Online Account? No. At this time we do not offer a printable version of the Certificate. However, many employers will accept the Certification Approval email that we send you and your number is always visible in your Online Account (top right) – Log In Now
Question 5: What do I do when I see a black screen in my camera view? If you see black and your camera is connected do not proceed with the Final Test. Please close your session and try using a different browser (like Chrome, Firefox, etc). You should see yourself on the screen.
